SCHEDULE
Like many other organizations and events, we have also made the decision to go virtual for the 2021 hackathon in response to COVID-19. With hosting a virtual events comes many changes to both the schedule and logistics of the event, which we will be continually working through. The following schedule is subject to change but provides a good base for how we plan to carry out the 2021 hackathon.

Registration will open on December 1 to anyone who is interested in participating. Due to the inability to regulate how much time participants are spending on their 'hack,' we have left the timeline completely open and participants may begin 'hacking' upon registering for the event.

A Zoom meeting will be hosted by the Emerging Ag organizing committee for the registered participants and guest speakers. This meeting will provide an opportunity for all participants to introduce themselves and their ideas and find a partner to work with if they wish. The guest speakers will present their opinion on the current state of the AgTech industry and provide insight into current challenges to address.

A Zoom meeting will be hosted by the Emerging Ag organizing committee for the registered participants and mentors. This meeting will provide an opportunity for all participants to be paired up with an industry professional who has experience in the area they are working in and who can provide them with advice on how to position their solution and make a captivating pitch.

A Zoom meeting will be hosted by the Emerging Ag organizing committee for the participants to pitch their ideas to the judges. Participants will enter the meeting and pitch one at a time. They will have 10 minutes to make their pitch and the judges will have 10 minutes for questions. These are strict timelines and will be enforced. The entire meeting will be recorded and will be posted publicly for registered attendees to watch prior to Friday.
